Emergency Operations Center Installation

Designed and installed a complete Emergency Operations Center for a military agency. The situation room features five 100” diagonal screens with 2500 ANSI lumen XGA LCD projectors by Proxima providing the images. Eighteen different sources can be displayed on any or all of the screens. These inputs include multiple computer inputs for laptops and network connectivity, an S-VHS VCR, a DVD player, and images from weather satellites and a network of traffic cameras. At the heart of the system is an Extron Crosspoint matrix switcher to route any input to any or all of the outputs. An AMX system provides one-touch control from a centrally located desktop color touch panel.
